Domaine Sainte Marie des Crozes

Domaine Sainte  Marie  des  Crozes is a vibrant, family‑run estate nestled on the northern slopes of Montagne d’Alaric in Douzens, within the Corbières AOC of Languedoc. Steeped in tradition, the current steward, Bernard Alias, inherited the estate in 1997 and, with his daughter Christelle joining in 2012 as the first woman winemaker in the family, they now oversee some 38 ha of organically farmed vineyards.

The vines thrive on clay‑limestone terraces surrounded by fragrant garrigue—scrubland that imparts herbal notes of thyme and hawthorn to their wines . The Corbières’ sunny, dry climate is tempered here by the cooler northern exposure, giving the wines both freshness and depth .

Christelle Alias brings a creative spirit to the domaine, experimenting with biodynamic techniques and indigenous yeasts to deepen sustainability and terroir expression. In that spirit she has pioneered the “Pipelettes” line and we’re beyond excited at Nice Find & Co to start with her chill-able red, Les Pipelettes Rouge– A light red? A dark rosé? Whatever you want to call it, there’s no denying that this is one seriously fruity thirst quencher.
