Visages de Loire: François-Xavier Barc

A native of the Loire Valley, François-Xavier Barc (FX, as he is know to all), studied winemaking in Chinon and trained in Bordeaux (Saint-Emilion), before launching Complices de Loire in 2010. It was always his dream to be based in the area where he grew up, surrounded by producers who share the same philosophy for creating the sort of fresh wines that let the fruit of the particular plot express itself. 



Visages de Loire is a collaborative label created for Nice Find & Co as a distributor in California, featuring a range of Loire Valley wines made from organically farmed fruit and crafted with minimal intervention. Using native yeasts and low-additive practices, these bottlings highlight François’s commitment to purity, terroir expression, and drinkability—whether it’s a crisp Vouvray or another gem from his thoughtfully tended vineyards.
